they’re small, a bit grubby, and they won’t sit still.

... they wriggle and dribble.

... they giggle and frown.

... and they definitely won’t smile when you point the camera at them.

well, they’re perfect, so why should they?


better to capture them unawares, whether they’re climbing a tree, giggling uncontrollably or losing themselves in the intricacies of a small plastic cup…

that’s what I try to do - create images that capture your children as they really are, rather than getting them to pose for ‘proper’ pictures.

nothing artificial, just letting them be themselves…
